Hidden Oaks Meadow

This is a small prairie opening just north of Hidden Oaks Prairie. It's one of the few mesic prairie remnants we have on our property.
It's quite small, less than an acre, but it has few weeds, and lots of prairie species.

It's separated from the field to the north by Prickly Ash, old sumacs and a thicket of Wild Plum.

It slopes slightly to the south, and is separated on the south end from Hidden Oaks Prairie by a thick aspen woods.
